Faces Behind The FiBER: Tiffany Cooks

Tell us a little about your background and what led you to NOVOS FiBER?

After a few years in telecommunications, I developed a passion for connecting people and delivering reliable services. When the chance to join Novos Fiber—a new fiber internet company with big plans and a focus on customer service—came along, I couldn’t pass it up. Being amongst one of the first  groups of employees, it felt like the perfect opportunity to help shape its growth and make an impact.

What do you enjoy most about your role at NOVOS FiBER?

Honestly, everything! I genuinely enjoy working with my amazing team and collaborating with such dedicated and talented individuals. What I love most, though, is getting to work directly with customers. Being hands-on and helping them find solutions or improve their experience is incredibly rewarding. It’s the perfect balance of teamwork and personal connection.

What is your role at NOVOS FiBER?

As the Dispatcher /Operations Field Specialist with NOVOS FiBER, I play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Starting with our Pre-Installations with our drop bury crew, ensuring that all information has been provided correctly on each customer.  Once an installation is scheduled, I take the lead in coordinating the process. I stay in constant communication with our technicians and installers, ensuring they’re where they need to be and stepping in to assist if a customer or team member needs to reschedule. It’s all about keeping things organized and making sure every installation goes off without a hitch.

What makes you proud to work for NOVOS FiBER?

Joining NOVOS FiBER from the very beginning has given me the unique opportunity to grow alongside the company. Facing challenges together, we’ve learned from every experience, turning them into what we call our “Novos lessons.” These lessons have shaped us, strengthened our team, and fueled our commitment to improvement. Being part of a team dedicated to creating something great makes me proud to work here.

Outside of work, how do you like to spend your time?

Outside of work, I love spending my time with my family, especially my grandkids. They bring so much joy and energy into my life, and I cherish every moment I get to spend with them. Whether it’s playing games, watching their favorite shows, or just enjoying quality time together, they always make my days brighter.

Any funny stories?

Not really, lol. I moved from Mississippi in 2019, and it’s been quite a journey! Since then, all of my kids have joined me here as well, which has made the transition even more special. Having my family close by has been such a blessing, and it’s amazing to see how we’ve all settled into this new chapter together.

Any fun hobbies or party tricks?

One of my favorite hobbies is playing kickball with my family—it’s something we all love doing together! I’ve even started a team, and it’s grown into something really special. We now have eight families who join in, and we all play against one another in fun, friendly competitions. It’s such a great way to stay active, bond with loved ones, and bring the community together.
